In-Depth Consultations

First and foremost I am a nurse always. Your medical history and safety is always more important to me than any aesthetic outcome that can be achieved. If treatment is contraindicated or there are precautions to treatment, I will always be 100% transparent about these to ensure you have all the information to make an informed decision. No question is a silly question so feel free to ask what you would like to know or understand more details about.

During your initial consultation, I will assess and look at your face as a whole, at rest, on movement and from all angles. I may ask you to pull some unusual faces and I may feel the strength of your different muscles or position of bony landmarks. We will discuss your area or areas of concern and determine a treatment plan together tailored specifically to you.

We’ve all seen or heard of those who have had overdone or poorly administered injectables. Unfortunately there are people out there that are able to inject these products, but do not have the expertise needed to provide optimal results for their clients.

I am so grateful to have trained under and been mentored by some of the best practitioners both locally and globally in this field. I am passionate about staying at the forefront of the industry to ensure my clients receive beautiful, natural results that are second to none every single time.

I can assure you that I treat all of my client’s faces with the same care I would my own or someone very important to me. I will never go ahead with treatment that I don’t believe is in the clients best interest.

I truly believe the best results are the ones that are unseen, you should just look like the best version of you. I aim to restore, preserve or enhance your face whilst maintaining the parts that are wholeheartedly you.

Botox®

Botox® is a natural purified protein that relaxes muscles and soften lines. It treats the lines that are there on movement called dynamic lines and soften the lines that are there at rest called static lines. I find in most of my patients that with repeated treatments with Botox the overlying skin can remodel resulting in a significant reduction in the static lines.

Over the years I find that clients are often concerned with the lines but the key to unlocking the best outcome with Botox if having an injector who really understands the underlying anatomy, beauty and aesthetics. Expression in the face is beautiful and retaining expression in the majority of the areas in the face is paramount. You should look refreshed not frozen.

The most common treatment areas include:

  • Frown lines

  • Forehead lines

  • Crows feet

However Botox can also be used to slim the face, improve a sad mouth, sculpt the jawline, lift different parts of the eyebrow, for excessive sweating in the hands, feet and underarms and so much more.

Unlike dermal fillers, results from Botox® will not be seen straight away. You will notice a relaxation effect begin to evident in about 3 - 4 days, with the full effect being seen at about 2 weeks post treatment.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are clear gels made from Hyaluranon- which mimics your body’s own natural Hyaluranon. Dermal fillers can restore lost volume/augment volume, be used for beautification or masculinisation by improving contour/ proportions and work on the finer details of the face such as lips, softening lines or reducing under eye hollows.

As we start to age we experience changes to our face on all layers that contributes to what we see on the surface. The key to a seamless filler treatment is for your injector to understand the anatomy, ageing process (if this is applicable) and treat the cause rather than the symptom of the ageing. A clear understanding of beauty aesthetics and proportion and how the face should move on animation is also paramount.

My aesthetic is extremely natural and underdone. I believe with any injectable treatment that if you can tell someone has had treatment then they are overtreated. The result should make you look fresh, balanced and like the best version of yourself.

I only use Hyaluranon dermal fillers as they are the safest product to use, safety is non negotiable to me and will always be at the forefront of any consultation or treatment planning we do together. In the rare instant that you experience a complication or are unhappy with your result, Hyaluranon dermal fillers can be reversed. Results are instant- and often get even better in the first few weeks post treatment as the filler ‘settles’.

The brands of Dermal fillers that I use are Juvederm, Teoxane and Boletero. I like to “cherry pick” my products from these ranges as they all perform differently in different areas of the face and different faces. During your consultation, I will recommend the desired volume, longevity and type of filler that will best address your concern within your budget. Its important to look at cosmetic treatment as a relay race rather than a sprint- where yourself and your injector are teammates and patience and planning is key.

Many injectors use the same products, but as we have all seen, not all results are equal. The person performing the procedure is just as important as the product used - your results are only as good as your injector.
